Direction to Camping Reale
The port of departure for Elba is Piombino, where three shipping companies (Toremar, Moby Lines and Blu Navy) by an hour's sail. It takes just one hour to cover the about 9 km which separates the island from the mainland, and reach the ports of Portoferraio, Rio Marina and Cavo.
There is also a passenger-only hydrofoil service which reaches Portoferraio in just 30 minutes.
Arriving by car
From the North:
From Milan, A1 motorway, at Parma Ovest take the A15 motorway which leads to the A12 Genoa-Livorno motorway, exit at Rosignano, continue along the Aurelia state highway to the junction for Piombino Marittima at Venturina-Isola d'Elba.
From the North-East:
A1 motorway for Bologna-Florence-Pisa-Livorno: leave the motorway at Rosignano and keep on along the Aurelia highway to Venturina-Isola d'Elba then on to Piombino Marittima.
As an alternative, the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway: exit at Florence Signa and follow the state highway to Collesalvetti, take the motorway again to Rosignano Marittima, follow the highway to Venturina-Isola d'Elba and then continue to Piombino Marittima.
From the South:
A12 Rome-Grosseto motorway: Aurelia highway to Venturina-Isola d'Elba then on to Piombino Marittima.
From the port of Portoferraio follow the indications for Porto Azzurro, arrived in Porto Azzurro continue in the direction of RioMarina for about 2.5 km. Turn right at the Reale Beach and drive to the beach where you will find the entrance of the campsite.
From the port of Cavo follow the indications for Rio Marina, arrived in Rio Marina proceed in direction of Porto Azzurro for approx 10km., Turn left at the Reale Beach and drive to the beach where you will find the entrance to the campsite.
From the port of Rio Marina follow the indication for Porto Azzurro after 10 km approx., Turn left at the Reale Beach and drive to the beach where you will find the entrance to the campsite.
By train
The station of destination for those travelling to the island of Elba by train is Piombino Marittima. Information at:

By air
Elba is served by scheduled flights by the company Elbafly, which runs daily services from the airport of Marina di Campo to the main Italian airports. Information at:
